Here is a video of how windy it was. This video is a lot of me saying, "can you tell how windy it is?" because I couldn't think of what else to say. You can't actually tell that I was about to fly away, you just have to imagine. Right after this it started raining and so Rob and I tried to run back to the hotel, against the wind. It was my workout for the weekend.
We hardly ventured out because of the weather, and pretty much had to dare each other to leave the warm and dry hotel in order to check out the beach. Just like we had to dare each other to jump in the swimming pool (we still "swam" despite the weather, most of our "swimming" was in the hot tub. We even played a game of Marco Polo with his niece in the hot tub!).
This monument marks the end of the Lewis and Clark trail. I don't know how they got home from here.
Rob with his niece, Genevieve, having some fun at the tiny little mall downtown. We went on a carousel ride in the same mall just before this.
Here is a cute one of us on the balcony of the hotel room. I really should have gotten a picture of the room, which was more like a house that I want to someday live in than a hotel room. I think that leaving that hotel room was one of the reasons we were sad that we had to leave early. The other reasons were because work and school were waiting back in Seattle for us, and we had such a great time with his family!

that video is really funny, it reminds me(somehow) of you on the fashion show video.
