its his birthday today and i dont know i think he may be turning like 25 or something, but there he is the jacob michael farrar we all know. our brother jacob(or husband for lisa) is all around cool. its almost safe to say jacob=cool. i don't think anyone would object to that. when i think of jacob i think of him laying on my bed either looking at my things or my magazines. i think of him peaking at christmas presents, i think of how funny he is and how he always says something funny, i think of the Mr. T key chain that he got once that we all thought was so funny, i think of how he would pay me to iron a shirt for him, or his phrases he would always use like "go take a long walk on a short bridge" or "i would rather owe it to you than cheat you out of it", or his always good halloween costumes. i think of how he would get annoyed with how slow i would play my turn in a game(now i get annoyed with people HAH), and i think of his great style! i could go on and on, but if anyone wants to add to this list of what you think of when you think of jacob feel free! happy birthday jacob!

When I think of Jacob I think of him standing w/ his hands on his hips in a mocking-sort-of-way. I think of the times I notice he looks and acts like Dad. I think of how much he loves going to the gym, observing lent, and not eating meat. I think of how he stole our family's copy of Sense and Sensibility because he wanted it w/ him at Ricks. I think of his laugh, his cool glasses, and how he has always had cool hair. Oh, and speaking of hair, how he is particular about where he gets it cut (I think he gets history of making a trip for a haircut from our grandparents who would travel to Seattle to go to the dentist). I think of how picky he is about restaurants and how he wouldn't buy us dinner because we wanted to eat at Mimis (but how he will buy us dinner other times). I think about how fun he is w/ our friends and how much they like him.
Other things too.
When I think of Jacob I think of him not ever remembering who I am. How rude!
I am glad he is turning 25 this year because that means I can too!!!
One thing I will always remember about Jacob is at family dinners, we kids would line up to dinner oldest to youngest. And he would always chime in "line up oldest by DUE DATE" Because he was due to be born before me and I came a little earlier than expected.

Hey, I ironed a shirt or two for Jacob at a Youth Conference (forever ago) and he didn't ever offer to pay me!!!
Jacob has the best laugh! And he can always make you laugh!

I guess I better chime in here, I think of how excited he gets about guacamole and other foods he likes. I think of how in high school I would ask to borrow a shirt when he first woke up because he was still half asleep and would always say yes. I think of how cool I felt my freshmen year having him as a brother, because he was a senior and everyone liked him and thought he was funny. But also how we had to be careful about the clothes we wore because me, alicia, and him would share clothes sometimes, and we didnt want anyone to know. I think of his red hooded sweatshirt we all loved to wear, because jacob always had the best clothes. But most recently I think of how much fun Leah had with him. he is such a great uncle, so fun and silly, she loved to be silly with uncle jacob. happy Birthday jacob, we all miss you in the tacher household.
