8:40am: After putting up a good fight, he finally fell asleep--just in time to take his sister to school.

9:40am: A trip to Target.
10:40am: Hand time. Colin is "discovering" his hands and loves to lick his thumb and fingers. Also a lovely time for a manicure.
11:40am: Back in the carseat to pick up his big sister--he fell asleep as soon as we were in the car.
12:40pm: A picnic before swimming lessons. This was taken just before Alyssa discovered there were ants at our picnic and insisted we go eat in the car.
1:40pm: Swimming lessons.
2:40pm: Painting.
3:40pm: Both Colin and Alyssa took a nap at the same time. A ten on ten miracle!
4:40pm: Hoping to make a dent in the laundry.
5:40pm: Enjoying a purple ice pop on the patio before dinner.

There were some ants on the bench I sat at at the lake for lunch, i flicked them away. I am not a fan of ants. I was just going to type that Alyssa looks so cute in her summer gear, but then I realized that is just everyday year around clothes. ha.

I wish there were ice pops here. that would be so fun.

Oh my goodness, seeing all these pictures of Alyssa and Colin make me so happy! Alyssa has got the LONGEST legs!

One of my favorite pictures? The laundry one - there's something about seeing such an ordinary detail of your day that makes me feel close even though you guys are so far away.
