May 10 on 10: Stephanie

ten on ten :: the idea

Take a photo every hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month. Document a day of your life and find beauty among the ordinary moments. Then share your beauty with us!

Today I really tried to pay attention to the "idea" noted above, that this is supposed to help me find beauty in every day moments. And let me tell you, it made for some neat discoveries about how there really is beauty in many of my day's moments. Many of those won't be apparent to anyone but me while viewing these photos, but it's gotten me excited about the 10 on 10 blog posts to come!

7am: (yep,7am) I'm at the gym, thanks to my friend who picks me up to go with her.

8am: Greeted at home by Henry who is demonstrating his "ooh" and pointing which is his new thing.
9am: Xander and Henry are saying goodbye to Rob as he leaves for work. Having Rob home for even just an extra hour on some mornings feels like such a treat.
10am: Finally putting on some makeup. Many days this doesn't even happen, and in only happens this late in the day when it does.
11am: A sign that I am sweeping and mopping (swiffering) the kitchen.
12pm: Henry is the first one awake. Content baby, clean living room... aah.
1pm: Lunch on the deck. The filter I used (I used the Cross Process app) makes it look overcast, but it was so beautiful out today.
2pm: At the park. I've come to the realization that going to the park is my new life. I'm a little bored of it already.
3pm: Crafting during afternoon nap.
4pm: Teaching Henry how to use one of his new toys. The time I spend with him on this rocking chair (it's a small one... or my hips are just big?) right after the nursing that follows each nap is some of the most precious.

good job working out so early. as much as it sucks to work out that early its SOO nice to have it done with.

that picture of you holding henry really shows how small he is. so cute. keep him small so i can hold him! ha.

baby bums!

i hardly wear makeup only on sundays. i never go anywhere.

i like seeing the chairs in the living room. feels like home when mom would clean the floors.

clean homes are the best.

nice job having them eat on the porch. you should always do that and just sweep the food off the edge. ha. food for the critters right?

i knew you would get sick of the park. invite other moms to go with you?

what are the crafts for? looks like cards.

im glad you enjoyed all your little moments.
