TACHER FAMILY

SEPTEMBER 10 on 10

We had a pretty out of the ordinary day.  It just so happened to be the day Mark & I celebrated our 12th Anniversary.......so enjoy our day!

9:00am
Clara very sad about getting her hair done, she hates it and puts up a fuss everyday.
a photo of how long her hair is getting.  I really want to cut it, but she is afraid.
 10:00am
Finding out that we didn't get the house we wanted to rent...kinda sad & kinda relieved.
 11:00am
Grocery shopping with my great shopping partner.  Check out her fancy nails, painted by Kaitlin Farmer a couple days before.
 12:00pm
Mark had bought 2 new suits with prize money from work...so he picked them up today from getting altered...he is modeling them for me & Clara.

2:00pm

We went to the Museum of Flight for our date.  May seem weird but we had free passes and we have always wanted to go without having to chase kids all over.

3:00pm
I took this photo for you Monica.  It was a huge poster of Paris...and the colors were really pretty. But I don't remember why it was in the museum....
 4:00pm
Still wandering the museum.  The huge room with all the planes hanging from the ceiling, so cool.  They actually had some new stuff at the museum, which was nice.
 5:00pm
After the museum we headed to Pike Place Market.  Of course they were closing, bummer.  But the bakery I love was still open, so we got some treats for the girls and just walked around.
 6:00pm
Still at the Market, wandering around looking for a dang open restaurant.  So annoying that there are very few open, and the ones that are, are expensive.
 7:00pm
So we left the Market and went to a place we knew would be open.  The food was okay, but the sourdough garlic bread & spumoni was good.
Then we had to head home to get our kids.  We had a great day!

SO happy you did this, even if it's "late"

Love Clara's face in this...so sad. THAT HAIR oh my. show her the picture of when she was little and got her first short hair cut...maybe that will help? Man it's so long but she would look so so cute with a short hair cut!

WOW that is ALL the renter said in that email?? crazy, seems kinda rude.

i want a shopping partner like her...or just her.

oh good job Mark getting new suits. someday Jachen will need to get a new suit. He has new church pants but he will need a jacket/pants match.

hooray for anniversary date night! i am so happy you posted this because now you have something to look back and remember of this date night.

thanks for taking the paris picture. seems like a cool one.

jachen wants to visit that museum when we move back. he wanted to when he visited the states but we never went.

oh man i know what you mean about nothing being open...was red robin on the water open?? when jachen and i were on our "honeymoon" in seattle there was NOTHING open for dinner that Sunday night we were there. So we had to get dinner at Walgreens...can you believe it?? I don't know why we didnt walk to Red Robin, well I guess cus it was kinda far from our hotel. So that was a super bummer.

Thanks for posting!
