8ish: Jacob took Alyssa to school so Colin and I had some time to vacuum. He really enjoyed chasing the vacuum from room to room. He also got distracted at one point and focused instead on taking all of the clothes out of Jacob and my bottom drawers. Now if only I could teach him to put it all back in...
9ish and 10ish: These didn't get taken because I forgot my phone. Had I brought it with me you would have seen me and Colin dropping Boo off at the vet for his blood sugar challenge testing. He stayed there until 5. We also ran a few errands including dropping off dry cleaning and running into Target for a few random things. Colin also took a nap during this time.
11ish: Time to fold laundry. Again, the "taking things out" skill is emerging as a true talent.
11:30ish: Colin pulls himself up on most things these days--even if it means those things sometimes get pulled on top of him instead of helping him up. He loves his little activity cube that he got for Christmas. It is one of the most frequent "tip over" offenders.
12ish: Playing in the pantry while I fix lunch.
1ish: This little walker is also a favorite from Christmas.
2ish: Such a sleepy baby.
2:30ish: Someone woke up screaming and needed to be held and rocked back to sleep.
3:15: Look who's home after a long day at school!
4:ish: Working on her sight words for her big test on Friday. She loves this headband Jachen gave to Jacob. She thinks it makes her look like a doctor. I just hope it holds all the sight words in her head for her test.
5ish: We all had to go and pick Boo up from the vet. His blood sugar looks to be under control with the current dose of insulin we have him in. We also went to Pizza Hut to pick up a personal pan pizza Alyssa earned with all of the books she/we read for the month of December. 5:00 seems to be a bit of a witching hour in our house these days so it is best not to share any of the pictures from this hour. :)
6ish: Alyssa giving me a crusty look while eating her very own pizza. I'm not entirely certain why she was mad at the moment, but again, that witching hour can drag out sometimes. Colin however, was very happy eating his slice of turkey.
7ish: Our new life with a diabetic dog--twice daily insulin shots.
The day ended with everyone in bed and I was able to go to bookclub with several of my friends where we discussed women's roles in Saudi Arabia.
The end.

he is so so cute! what a fun hourly partner.
thanks for posting again!
Isn't laundry just so much fun with a baby around to help? I just got that dinosaur onsie for my future little guy, looks cute on Colin.
Full day! I love how I can tell how short he is in these pictures. I miss the stage when Henry was completely entertained by helping with laundry and Iiss the days when all he could reach was the bottom drawer:)
