September 10 on 10: Lisa

Today was a travel day for Colin and I. Started out VERY early. 

4:00 am: up at 3:30 an ready to get everyone else up by 4:00. Here's a rare belly shot. 

6:00 am: restless and ready to board our tiny plane to Detroit. 

7:30 am: Walking through the fancy light and new wave music tunnel to get to our next gate in Detroit. 

8:30 am: on board and playing with the new set of wings the flight attendant gave him. Colin had his own ticket and seat for this trip. Worth every penny!

9:30 am: a much needed nap for a very sleepy kid. 

11:00 am: figuring out his new water coloring board. I think he was more excited about trying to suck the water out of the writing tool, but hey, at this point whatever keeps him happy. 

2:30 eastern/11:30 pacific: eating lunch at Shari's restaurant. We had to kill some time before my sister's flight arrived so we got some lunch. The dinosaur toy is from a nice older couple in the restaurant that have a stash of them in their car to give to children they see when they're out. Very sweet. Colin hammed it up by giving lots of loves to the Dino and lots of smiles to the couple. Definitely a charmer. 

4:00 eastern/1:00 pacific: running away from Nana and getting some wiggles out. His outfit change is due to a MAJOR blow out in the restaurant. Thankfully he waited until after we were off the plane. 

Shortly after this we picked up Sarah and headed to Salem where we all crashed pretty quickly. Colin was a trooper all day and I'm glad we were able to have a great travel day.
