before and after

okay, so in the first picture I'm trying to attempt the classic "before" picture on makeovers... people always look so depressed, if they would have just smiled and put on some makeup they would already look a ton better. Then I took this next picture, after I had done my hair and was sad, for real, about the pending departure of my long long hair.
I like it.

I've gotten my last 3 or 4 cuts at a place downtown that's kind of like a training school. There is a fancy salon, Gary Manuel, in Seattle and before the stylists work there they have to do two years at a school on Capital Hill, then some training at Phase 3. I get mine cut at Phase 3, the avg cost is $27 depending on experience of the stylist. The one on capital hill is even cheaper. A girl in my program recommended it and since then a ton of us from the program go and I've recommended it to Monica and Jenaca.
