A few months ago I made these Bookworm cupcakes for a Young Women book club activity. I love how they turned out, so I wanted to post the idea. 
Here are a couple close-ups. The book is made out of stick gum and the dirt is crushed cookies. They were so easy to make.

cute natalie! just hope noone bit into the cupcake with the gum still on it. that would be a surprise chew.
